Over thirty top dealers from the metro area will participate in the Fall Depression-Era Glass, China and Pottery Show sponsored by the North Jersey Depression Glass Club. The show is at Guardian Angel Church Hall, corner of East Allendale Avenue and Franklin Turnpike in Allendale, New Jersey, on Friday, November 14 and Saturday, November 15. Co-chairpersons are Paul Duchamp and Craig Kratochvil.

A coffee and cake preview and sale is set for Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. On Saturday, the show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $5 on Friday (also good for Saturday) and $4.50 for Saturday only ($4 with ad). A snack bar will be open on Saturday.

According to Dunchamp, “our dealers are virtually ‘hand-selected’ to ensure that there is a representative display of glass, china and pottery from the depression-era.” He adds that visitors to the show will find an impressive selection of everyday kitchen items to elegant serving pieces, dinnerware and stemware in a variety of most wanted colors and patterns. “The continued success of our twice-yearly show is testimony to the many unique and hard-to-find items that our dealers have on display,” concludes Duchamp.

Kratochvil adds: “The beautiful items we are offering for purchase at our show have tremendous appeal to both collectors and non-collectors alike. And with the holidays upon us, many of the items are perfect for gift giving.”

The North Jersey Depression Glass Club meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Wyckoff Public Library. For information about the show or the club, call Walter at (973) 838-2419 or Paul at (973) 267-7511.
