Basement Bonkers Sale at Plantsville General Store Antique Center

Published June 9th, 2008

Elaine Maloney, owner of the Plantsville General Store Antique Center (Plantsville, Connecticut) is turning back the collectible’s clock in a “Basement Gone Bonkers Sale” on June 13th and 14th. Hold onto you hats……. the lower level of this 5000 square foot antique mall is so stuffed with antiques and collectibles from eras bygone that Elaine’s husband Dave says “out it goes”.

The Plantsville General Store Antique Center is a neat stop for antique shoppers heading to or from The Farmington Polo Grounds Show which is the same weekend as The General Store’s “Basement Gone Bonkers Sale”. Elaine and Dave will start the sale on Friday and keep it going all day Saturday. Just off I 84 (Marion Avenue exit) in Southington , this well established multi-dealer shop has always attracted folks attending The Farmington Polo Ground Show, one of New England’s largest outdoor antique shows
