Dubuque Museum of Art Auction

Published December 2nd, 2007

A fine art auction, featuring works from the Don and Criss Glasell estate, will benefit the Dubuque Museum of Art.

The auction will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 2, at Cafe Manna Java, 269 Main St.

The art careers of the Glasells paralleled that of Grant Wood. They lived mostly in Dubuque between 1927 and the early 1960s and were part of the Regionalist movement linked to Wood. Don Glasell died in 1965, Criss Rosner Glasell in 1971.
