Tulsan to launch Auction Network

Published September 20th, 2007

Former president and CEO of TV Guide Networks, Pam McKissick, is putting the final touches on Auction Network, a Tulsa-based venture that will allow real-time bidding on auctions around the globe.

Though some auctions are already online, McKissick, now CEO of Auction Network, said the Web site and the planned television network will gather information and access from the more than 6,500 auctioneers in the National Auctioneers Association.

“We can connect you with any auction, since we’re partnered with the NAA, and Auction Network has been designated as their official network,” she said.

The site, www.auctionnetwork.com, will launch Oct. 28, with the network to follow on cable and satellite TV sometime in 2008.
