Heritage Auction Galleries to sell lock of Che Guevara?s hair

Published September 6th, 2007

A lock of hair from the head of Argentinian revolutionary Che Guevara is going to be auctioned off by Heritage Auctions of Dallas, as part of a Che Guevara scrapbook that includes photos of his body, a map, messages between Che and his rebel gang, and a set of his fingerprints.

Heritage is acting on behalf of Gustavo Villoldo, 71, a former CIA operative and Cuban exile who says the lock of hair was snipped before Che was buried in 1967.
