7,000 hired at Manila job fairs

THE Department of Labor and Employment has provided at least 7,000 job opportunities at fairs in the first quarter of the year.
Labor Secretary Patricia Sto. Tomas said 6,815 applicants were hired on-the-spot (HOT), while 5,369 jobseekers were screened later and subsequently taken in by participating employers.

Indian businessmen invited to Chinese SMEs fairs

The Guangdong provincial government and the Chinese economic department Wednesday invited Indian businessmen to participate in two mega fairs on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in mid-September.
